Domestic Disharmony

A trilogy of one-act plays written by one of our members.

Shaw's tale of a girl taken from the gutter, and teaching her to talk correctly, passing her off as a princess.  A story of love, ambition and cruelty.

Set in the Austrian Alps, a group of travellers come to grips with their differences after being stranded by an avalanche.

This play was centred around a pub, a phonebox and a house

A Victorian Entertainment

including: "A Marriage has been Arranged" & "The Monkey's Paw"

A short play and A Ghost story.  This one act play was based on the novel of the same name.

A thriller that tells of a man who kills his wife to get her money.  This play is ingenious in the way the plot twists and turns.

The Provok's Wife

Set in the late 18th century, this comedy was a story of love, betrayals, pistols at dawn, and cuckolds.

How the Other Half Loves

Ayckbourne's comedy set in two living rooms.  This play had two scenes  - from different nights - going on at the same time!  Confused? well, it all made sense thanks to Ayckbourne's brilliant writing.
