Moliere’s visual comedy from ‘Le Medecin Malgreé Lui’. An outdoor production.
This was performed three times. The first (and, I think, the best in some ways) was on the Abbey Lawn: date uncertain but about 1990) The then-small now-big cedar was used as back-stage. No photos.

Second and third were in July 1994, first at Victoria Gardens and then at Home Farm, Tredington. At the Gardens – for which the pergola made a good backdrop – the Council were very helpful in providing the use and transport of seating; less helpful in requiring extra ‘public risk’ insurance which cost TADS £90, which almost exactly wiped out the takings.
