Tartuffe or The Hypocrite is a theatrical comedy by Moliere first performed in 1664. The characters of Tartuffe, Elmire and Orgon are considered among the greatest classical theatre roles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

TADS production in 1998 did not disappoint. With stunning performances by Richard Hughes (Tartuffe), Jane Amherst (Elmire) and Geoff Guy (Orgon). Of course none of these productions would have been so successful without the supporting cast, rehearsal prompt (Mary Clarke), first class lighting from Martin Oates and the reliable and ever alert back stage crew.<\/p>Janet Lines as Madame Pernelle<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
