Seagulls is a collection of three very short plays – less than 5 minutes each – by Brenda Read-Brown. Each playlet features a couple, man and woman, sitting on a bench and talking to each other. The first is wistful and sweet; the second more down-to-earth, except for a bit of magic; the third is funny. Ideally the first and third couples should be middle-aged or older and the middle couple younger \u2013 but actually the same people, if they\u2019re good actors, could do all three.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seagulls was ideal the open-air setting of This is Tewkesbury on Saturday 13th June at the Abbey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
